A neighbourhood with a
FUTURE.

The Havenlaan in Brussels has undergone a true metamorphosis in recent years. New bridges and parks, cultural attractions, experience sites like Tour & Taxis and projects like The Banks: the former industrial zone has been transformed into a lively and attractive meeting place.

Tour & Taxis

The development of Tour & Taxis gave the neighbourhood an incredible boost. The site is a vibrant place to live, work and meet. It’s very popular with visitors, local residents and professionals. The neighbourhood will be upgraded even further in the future. The former Citroën site will become the new Centre Pompidou, a major art museum. The old Tour & Taxis freight station – the Gare Maritime – is now a huge market and events hall.

Beco park

Beco Park, a wide 3.2-hectare green boulevard, will emerge in front of The Banks’ buildings from 2024. It will span 750 metres, from Place Saintcelette to Place des Armateurs at the UP-site tower.

FOUR PARKS
nearby

No fewer than four parks are planned nearby, including the large landscape park on the Tour & Taxis site. That park was also designed by landscape architect Bas Smets, who is responsible for landscaping The Banks. Beco Park and the park at Tour & Taxis will also be connected, giving residents a large, expansive green oasis.

The Suzan
Daniel bridge

The long-awaited Suzan Daniel bridge – the missing link for the entire neighbourhood on Havenlaan – opened recently. The pedestrian bridge connects The Banks with the bustling Northern Quarter across the street, providing optimal accessibility to public transport and the many large corporations around Brussels North train station.

The Banks: A UNIQUE INVESTMENT with huge growth potential
